Pastor Stephen "Chuck" Nash, Jr.

Rev. Stephen “Chuck” Nash, Jr. was born in Dallas, TX on June 19, 1976. He graduated from Booker T. High School of the Engineering Professions in Houston, TX in 1994. Upon high school graduation, he moved back to Dallas to help his father, Dr. Stephen C. Nash, Sr. in ministry at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. He served as Assistant Youth Pastor as he matriculated on the campus of the Historically Black, Texas College in Tyler, TX. At Texas College, he majored in Religion and minored in Social work. He graduated in 2012. After graduation, Pastor Nash, Jr. advanced to Assistant Pastor as he fulfilled his calling to full-time ministry. In May of 2020, the Lord led him and Dr. Nash to plant Mt. Horeb-DeSoto. They held the first service in their home on May 10, 2020 and Mt. Horeb-DeSoto was born.  In less than two years, Mt. Horeb moved to its own permanent location and the name was changed to Mt. Horeb-Belt Line to encompass the communities of DeSoto, Lancaster, and Cedar Hill, TX.

In the short time Pastor Nash, Jr. has been pastoring Mt. Horeb-Belt Line, he has added to his accomplishments.  Including moving to a permanent location, God has blessed him to become the Assistant General Secretary of the BM&E State Convention and the Moderator of the Northwestern District Association. He will receive the Young Minister of the Year award from the prestigious Interdenominational Minister's Alliance and the Elite News' "Minister Of The Year Award" in February of 2022. 

Pastor Nash, Jr. is an anointed preacher, a gifted communicator and teacher. He is convicted about speaking the truth of the gospel whenever he stands to proclaim God’s Word. God has given him a vision to move Mt. Horeb-Belt Line from “Religion to Righteousness” by being Christ-Centered, Captive-Freeing and Community-Driven Church.

Pastor Nash, Jr. is married to the beautiful Fran'gee and they have three children; Jaelah, Stephen, III and Saelah.
